También se busca poner a reflexionar tanto a los estudiantes como a las docentes sobre si les gusta utilizar este tipo de actividades y sobre todo si son útiles para la absorción de conocimientos. Además, proporcionar nuevas ideas y herramientas que permitan a al docente a ayudar a los niños en su adquisición de un propio criterio, astucia y desenvolvimiento en el entorno, esto quiere decir que sea capaz de ser dinámico, explorador del entorno y de sí mismo. Para llevar a cabo esto se llevarán a cabo talleres en clases, para poder realizar tanto observación como la aplicación de encuestas a las docentes.Item Impact of using music therapy to improve the reading skills in the identification of sounds and letters of students from 5-7 years old in preparatory b of the Pan American School during the first semester 2023.(Universidad Hispanoamericana, 2023-05) Garcia Garcia, Paola; Vargas Vindas, Ariel Gustavo; Facultad de Educación; Rodríguez Arce, Silvia; Educación Preescolar BilingüeThe objective of this investigation is to analyze the impact of the use of music therapy in the learning of reading skills, specifically in the identification of sounds and letters, which was carried out in students of Preparatory B in Pan-American School. The research aims to analyze the main factors that have affected the learning of the reading skill in the students of the group mentioned above, the benefits that music therapy has on the students and their education, and to inform on different methods to use in the class in order to provide effective learning strategies. The nature of the research is qualitative, so instruments were built and applied to collect information in the classroom. The techniques used in the Preparatory B class at Pan-American School were observation, in order to examine specific characteristics and behaviors in the students; survey, which was implemented to the homeroom teachers to generally analyze their knowledge in music therapy and its application in the class, and in this way compare and examine data; interview, in order to know in greater depth the trajectory of the homeroom teachers, the difficulties they have observed in the class in regard to the reading skill, and the connection they consider there may be between the use of music and teaching of the mentioned skill. The methodology involves a qualitative approach, including a pre-test and a post-test checklist, a questionnaire, and a Likert scale. Results indicate significant improvements in students’ accuracy and overall speaking skills after four weeks of using ChatGPT-3.5. Vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation were the skills that improved the most during the process. The findings suggest that ChatGPT-3.5 supports the Communicative Language Approach by providing students with a conversational partner for authentic practice and immediate, personalized feedback. Furthermore, this study demonstrates how these strategies are designed to integrate curricular objectives with the students' natural, active characteristics, thereby enriching their learning experience. By doing so, the strategies aim to enrich the learning experience, fostering greater enjoyment and engagement in the process. Based on this, inclusive education has taken a lot of importance in the last years in our classrooms which has become a place of new learning for teachers, and where many times they need support and new ideas to work with their children in the classrooms. This research project was developed in Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Bilingual School in Cartago, Costa Rica, a private institution with big prestige in the province. The investigation was developed with a fourteenth preparatory group (from five to six years old) in which there was the presence of an autism spectrum disorder. The kinesthetic method is a pedagogical approach, that has proven to be fundamental in children's learning process, as it allows students to physically interact with the content, facilitating greater retention and understanding through movement.
