La investigación tiene como propósito determinar el impacto de las aplicaciones tecnológicas en el aprendizaje de las habilidades de escritura y gramática en estudiantes de décimo año del Liceo de Miramar. La implementación de la estrategia brinda una alternativa diversa para generar conocimiento de una manera no tradicional. La globalización y las revoluciones industriales han efectuado un gran cambio en la sociedad y es necesario que la sociedad avance en términos educativos con las nuevas generaciones para que implementan la tecnología en el diario vivir. Por lo que la importancia de la implementación se vuelve vital, ya que el aprendizaje no solo se centra en el aula, sino que ese aprendizaje puede ser complementado con el uso de aplicaciones que están al alcance de su mano. Las habilidades de gramática y escritura son habilidades básicas para la comunicación y el desarrollo de estas generan bases para el correcto uso del idioma. El presente trabajo es una investigación cualitativa, se utiliza un cuestionario para obtener datos en la cual el objeto de investigación son diez estudiantes de la sección 10-5 del Liceo de Miramar, el trabajo de investigación muestra sus puntos de vista y opiniones acerca de las técnicas implementadas, enfocadas en el uso de la tecnología como medio de enseñanza. Es de suma importancia que el docente incluya distintas estrategias que sean atractivas y llamativas para aumentar el nivel en las habilidades escritas ya que fundamentan una base para desarrollar un aprendizaje integral del idioma tanto en el aula como fuera de ella.
The application of the shadowing tecnique through the audio-lingual approach using AI tex-to-speech platform to improve pronunciation of content and function words in students aged 17 to 20 at centro panamericano de idiomas in the III quarter 2024

The present investigation aims to analyze the impact of applying a language learning technique called Shadowing through Play HT an AI text-to-speech platform, to improve pronunciation of content and function words in students at Centro Panamericano de Idiomas. The research was conducted with thirteen students from three groups (A1-2, A2+, and B2). An observation, interviews, and a survey were carried out to gather the data required for the research, including the pronunciation skills the students presented before the application of Shadowing, the teachers' experience and perspective towards the technique and students’ performance, and students' opinions regarding the Play HT platform and Shadowing technique in improving pronunciation. The findings revealed that students did not accurately intonate content and function words before the intervention process. However, according to the teachers, after the Shadowing session, students demonstrated a significant improvement in the intonation of content and function words. The investigation concluded that the Shadowing Technique through Play HT can have a significant impact in improving student’s pronunciation skills and that it can be an effective method for teaching English as a second language
The effectiveness of implementing conversational podcasts in English lessons with the Communicative Language Teaching Approach in improving the use of English Business vocabulary on 10th-grade students at Colegio Técnico Profesional del Este in Santo Domingo, Heredia during the first quarter of 2025

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing conversational podcasts in English lessons with the Communicative Language Teaching Approach in improving the use of English Business vocabulary on 10th-grade students at Colegio Técnico Profesional del Este in Santo Domingo, Heredia during the first quarter of 2025. An observation, a survey, and an interview were applied to collect all the fundamental information for research purposes as analyzing the previous students’ knowledge of business vocabulary, also to develop conversational podcasts for them to improve the implementation of business vocabulary and to gather the teacher perception and opinion of applying this strategy to the classroom and at the same time considering the students succeed and development during this applications. The results confirm that the 10 grade students are in the proper year to start implementing business word, and to always seek to impulse their use of the speaking skill, therefore, it could be confirmed that the conclusions of this investigation revealed that the conversational podcats to improve English business vocabulary is an effective and innovative strategy for the students learning and educational process.
The use of task-based approach to determine effectiveness of elllo's web page audio resources using interactive question-based activities to enhance speaking fluency in adult students of an intermediate level at Anglo-American High School during the III quarter 2024

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of ELLLO's website in combination with the Task-Based approach (TBLT) to improve oral fluency in intermediate-level teenagers who are learning English as a foreign language. ELLLO's website is a site that allows having a variety of audio by categories (levels and topics). The website also implements activities as suggestions that teachers can use to increase the results of their students through the Task-Based approach, which allows group participation of students to have spontaneous learning through the different activities proposed within the strategy, which can be mentioned: Circle talk, problem-solving, questionnaires, debates, among others. The study was conducted at the Anglo-American High School during the third quarter of 2024. This research employed interviews, questionnaires, and classroom observation of the four groups observed with a total sample of twenty students. The research shows that using ELLLO's website in interaction with the Task-Based approach is an effective and enriching method that gradually improves the students' oral fluency according to the data obtained from the instruments. It also demonstrates that it is possible to improve not only the students' fluency in class but also to motivate the participation and integration of the students due to the group dynamics and the naturalness of the group activities.
