Resumen
In Costa Rica, education is mandatory; the process of education is shaped
by three stages: pre-school, primary, and high school. Each stage is important in
the cognitive, socioemotional, and psychomotor development. However, preschool
(from zero to six years old) is fundamental since it is there where children develop
their character and personality.
