Resumen
This research analyzes the impact of implementing the CLIL approach in teaching Science using English as a Foreign Language to fourth grade students at Santa Rosa de Lima Primary School, located in Santo Tomás, Santo Domingo, Heredia, during the first semester of 2026. CLIL emerged in Europe as a response to social, political, and economic demands for higher levels of language competence. The term, coined by David Marsh, refers to an approach that integrates content and language learning through the use of an additional language as the medium of instruction, promoting both academic and linguistic development.
