Transnational companies have found Costa Rica as a great country to establish. Those
companies look for people not only specialized in certain fields, but also knowledgeable in
English; however, the lack of personnel that is fluent in English is a present problem for
companies looking for individuals with these qualifications. For this reason, some of them
decide to stop their operations in Costa Rica.
